This work of art is a depiction of Eve. Through her body language, we are able to see that she is ashamed. She is hiding her face from the viewer, and is crossing her arms and legs in the attempt of hiding her body. Eve disobeyed God's command, and, along with Adam, is the reason for humanity's downfall. We compare her to the Strange Woman in Proverbs because both represent sin and temptation.

The fall of Adam and Eve is shown in this image. While analyzing this artwork, we notice that the serpent who tempts Eve into going against God's command has the same head as Eve herself. This represents the idea that Eve is the main cause of the fall of humanity, and is the root of evil and sin. Proverbs' Strange Woman is depicted as sin and temptation, just as Eve is in this piece of art.

This image depicts the Virgin Mary. While comparing Proverbs' Woman Wisdom to New Testament women, we decided Mary is the New Testament's Woman Wisdom. She was chosen by God to be Jesus' mother, and was always faithful to God. She embodies everything Woman Wisdom preached in the Book of Proverbs

By creating an artwork that depicts both Mary and Jesus together, the viewer is able to visualize their relationship. Many people know that Jesus represents the salvation of humanity, so through his relationship with Mary, she can be assumed to be righteous. Only a wise woman would be chosen as the mother of God's Son, and Mary, as a wise woman, represents Woman Wisdom from Proverbs
